I have got my hands onto Windows 7 Pro 64bit thanks to my student discount and have completed a clean install. Waving goodbye to Vista was nice though i hadn't really had that much trouble with it in the 2 years or so i have had it.
Install was as painless as expected and it is running great much better than vista. First thing i did was grab security essentials and Live mail something i think most will do as soon as they install. A few updates and a quick trip to get Chrome, iTunes etc and I was up and running.
I am really liking the jump lists makes it so much easier to launch the programs i commonly use.
